Well, no, but he even talking about the Church? I didn't see any reference to a kingdom ethos in there.

Applying the life of, say, the Sermon on the Mount to the culture of the kingdom and reading that into Potter's assertions would be to agree that living out the Sermon makes no real difference. I don't think either one of us would agree with that.
