from Schlatter's commentary on Romans. It's listed in English translation as Romans: The Righteousness of God ISBN#0-943575-89-3 by Hendrickson.
I'm borrowing it from my pastor and it's immensely slow reading (I'm only at page 78 and I blitzed through Jesus & the Victory of God in 28 days). I've got a lot I could say about the commentary and about certain historical matters but I'm trying to save that until I read quite a bit more of the book and to save all that for some ruminations at my own blog. If you can find the book and handle the tougher-than-John-Murray literary style definitely go for the book!
I only have Carson's little book on the Sermon on the Mount but I've listened to a few of his sermons and have generally been pleased with what I've heard and read so far. :)
