[Harold John] Ockenga admitted it was hard to believe that such an awakening could stir Boston, a religious mixture of Roman Catholics, Christian Scientists, Unitarians, and modernists. The only explanation was that God had come to town, just as he was visiting other locales around the country. "We call the entire Christian public of the nation to prayer," Ockenga pleaded, "for if Boston and New England can receive such a shaking of God under this stripling who like David of old went forth to meet the giant of the enemy, then we believe that God is ready to shake America to its foundations in revival."

God will shake the U.S. in one way or another. Either we will fall to our knees now or we will when Jesus comes back. I pray it is now!
Thank you for this. I continue to fight the call to New England... being from the South... but God desires me there and I will come.
