Emma goes to our church and we are very proud of her, because she was recently selected to join a Samaritan's Purse/Operation Christmas Child "SPY" team on a mission trip to Uganda this summer. Emma needs to raise around $4,000 for this trip. Our church is paying the bulk of this expense, but due to some recent medical expenses, Emma's family is in need of help raising the remainder of the money needed. So she's fundraising. And this is where me and you come in. I want to help her raise money by giving you the opportunity to help her receive money. :-)

Thank you, Pastor, for helping with our need. Their team will be completing six shoe box distributions while on this trip, along with working with Samaritan's Purse "Livestock" and "Wash" projects. What a blessing for Emma to share a part in God's awesome goodness.
A few days ago we were watching some videos of past distributions in Uganda. Emma asked, "Mom, what would you think if I got off the plane with a baby on my hip?" Oh! The Lord is blessing her already with a heart for orphans! My heart is full!
