What is the message of the gospel?
That the greatest good (God) offers the greatest action (love) to the greatest need (wrath-owed sinners) by sending the greatest treasure (Jesus) in the greatest invitation (to everyone) into the greatest life (everlasting).
How is this not exciting?

That message brings the greatest excitement. :)
It all sounds nice Jared, but the prosperity gospel folks would still rather put a picture of a Cadillac on their refrigerator.
I've read a few definitions Jared. That's as good as it gets. Exciting isn't a good enough word though.
looking back at my post, I hope that no one took that as cynical.....I'm becoming increasingly disenchanted with my Bible Belt surroundings......I love your post Jared, it needs to be shouted from the roof-tops - heck, even that's not enough.
All I can say is...that's the greatest!
