Tell People About the Gospel from a Heart of Love and a Life of Service

John Piper is still on sabbatical, which was scheduled for a year. I miss his voice.

This was a blessing to me at 12:52 in the a.m.

That's really good. Thanks, Jared.

While I also miss JP's voice I'm glad he's on sabbatical. He is a peculiar blessing to the church in our day and place but it is good for even the best horse to go out of harness from time to time. I look forward to seeing how God will use this time away in the future.

I thought the sabbatical was scheduled for eight months. Was I wrong? Man, I'm missing his voice too.

I asked God to fill me with love for others so that I will tell them about Jesus. A lady at a Power Squadron meeting has the same chronic pain that I have. I told her about Jesus when He walked through walls and appeared to different people and how I wanted a body like His. She just stared at me. Maybe I went about it in the wrong way!?

John Piper is one of the most brilliant teachers I've ever heard in my life. I can't wait to hear what God's done with him during his sabbatical. But I miss his voice.
