My friend Pete Wilson, uber-blogger and pastor of Cross Point Church in Nashville, recently released his first book. It's called Plan B, and it's about what to do when life doesn't work out the way you thought it would, which is to say it's about life.
I had the privilege of perusing an early draft of the book, and I can say that Pete has done a real service in speaking to the hard stuff of real lives. There are no pat answers or sentimental cliches here, because those don't work when a life is shattered. Instead, Pete deals honestly and tenderly with brokenness and offers the hope of the God whose business is making all things new.
