Thanks for a wonderful trip into the past. One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists.

Keith Green's music pretty much got me through high school.

Keith Green provided the soundtrack to my early years as a Christian, and gave me much spiritual inspiration through university. His life story "No Compromise" is without doubt one of the books that had the biggest influence on me. And as a pianist, and worship leader, he was undoubtedly my single biggest musical influence.

Thanks for this beautiful and refreshing trip down memory lane.

Great song. I discovered Keith in High School. Loved the LPs. I still have the Last Days Ministries magazines in a box in my basement! (I know - pack-rat alert!)
We had Melody (his wife) come up to Ottawa, Canada, 20 years ago, for a pro-life rally. It was good to meet her. Now, a new generation of kids are discovering Keith. Cool.

Absolutely love that vid, and Keith. One of my faves.

Have you heard Phil Keaggy's version? Instead of "the answer was as easy as just asking you in" he has "the answer was as simple as my need to let love in". I'm not sure if that's for theological reasons on Keaggy's part or if Green was improvising on the original Mark Heard lyrics, but I've always found that interesting.

Sorry, not Mark Heard. Randy Stonehill. I'm losing it this week with having to start teaching while the kids are still on summer vacation.
