Evangelist Steve Hale says the church is not seeing growth and is losing the culture war because less of us are engaged in revivalistic church services and less of us are holding short-term revival meetings with professional evangelists.
Maybe. Probably not, though.
I wonder if Rev. Hale has considered that decades of that sort of church methodology may be formative in why we are ineffective today. It's at least worth exploring, I think.

Ironic that a vocational evangelist is upset that fewer churches are paying vocational evangelists. I'm sensing a hidden motive here, I think .....
