The Greatest Privilege

I got to share the gospel with someone today.

And I get to baptize my oldest daughter (along with 1 or 2 others) on Sunday.

The goodness of God in the gospel of Jesus is so wonderful.

What a privilege and blessing to be able to baptize your daughter!

Hey man, that is awesome! I hope to be the one to baptize my own kids one day(although the pastor might need a little convincing that he doesn't have to be the one to do it).

Brian, if you need help convincing him, give me his number. Joking, but not really.

I think dads get first right of refusal. :-)

My church regularly has someone in addition to the pastor helping baptize. Often the father, sometimes the friend that led them to Christ, or with the youth, their class pastor in addition to the youth minister.

I think that having the father baptize the child is an awesome experience. It gives a rememberance that can't be duplicated.
