Tuedsay is for the Ha Ha

Oh my goodness, this clip made me laugh so hard I was crying. Honestly.

It's Louis CK on Conan O'Brien talking about how spoiled and "un-amazed" we are, so it's not only funny, it's funny because it's true. I would love to steal some of this for a sermon rant. :-)
It's a great applicable illustration for not just our culture but for evangelicalism, I think.

That is great! - He and Jake Johannsen are the two most consistently funny stand up guys I've heard (since Stephen Wright anyway).....However, with Louis CK, I can only take about 10 mins of his HBO specials - he's one of the more crude guys out there - he pushes past my threshold tolerance level - which is tough to do......

nhe, I agree with you. Which is one reason why I was kinda surprised to love this so much.
I've heard bits of his standup before and I can't watch it, it's so gross.

Thanks for the idea. I used it last week as a lead in to a liturgical prayer asking forgiveness for the things we should be amazed at but take for granted such as the simplicity of His presence (Adam & Eve in the garden), the wife He's given us (Solomon's description of his lover in SoS), His preserved Word (David: Sweeter than honey), Copious amounts of food (5 & 2), etc. I had a lot of request for where I got the video after church. I wish I could say it was for the amazing liturgical experience but...
