The lack of the statement of faith and the claim that Jesus would have been a mean greeny for globalization are a bit much... but I think i would go there just for the communion house party...
I love how Jesus would always be interested in the things that bother that particular person.
I also love the statement about not trying to be cool when everyone there looks like they're trying to be cool. It's similar to what I saw at a conference recently where the 'cult of cool' was on full display - just in the 'authentic' cool kind of way.
they went to a lot of effort to say they don't have a statement of faith, but then spent the remainder video saying what they believe - I guess they're just afraid they'll become programatic and institutionalized if they simply write down what they hold true.
I'm with Brandon though - I like the communion house party
"Do they not have lighting at Solomon's Porch? How do they see each other?"
That's what I was thinking too - somebody turn on the lights!
It's easy to criticize, but if it helps folks find Jesus, good for them. Then again, it seems like a bunch of folks who didn't want to fit into church so they made church to fit them.

This is exactly what I was thinking!
