Aw, yeah. A little Delfonics action for you this fine Monday morning. And here are some quality links to get your week started off right . . .
Mark Dever favors an excerpt from Bob Kauflin's book Worship Matters, and this quote -- "You shouldn't work at a church you wouldn't attend" -- is a personal commitment of mine. I turned down a student ministry job right after we moved to Nashville for that very reason.
Good advice in the age of professionalized ministry.
Ed Stetzer continues his series on missiology with a good post on cultural engagement. How far is too far?
Out of Ur reviews a stop on Rob Bell's "the gods aren't angry" tour.
Trevin Wax with the blogger coup of a lifetime: An Interview with N.T. Wright
Lots of good stuff there.
Happy surfing!

Thanks for the link on the Rob Bell tour review. What that writer said about Bell's speaking style is so true - he's compelling and makes you really think about what he's saying and what you think you know or don't know. I think that's why he's such a lightning rod for controversy.
I've never read Bell, but the whole "God wasn't really angry at us, and Jesus came to show us that" . . . doesn't that seem kinda backwards of the truth?
I'm no theologian . . .
