We've had small groups start up throughout the years but they inevitably die out. And I think the reason is because they never become part of the DNA of the church as a whole. They're always off to the side as an add-on.<BR/><BR/>The leadership of the church has to see small groups as a natural(even essential) extension of who the church is and what it wants to be. And like you said, that starts on Sunday morning and cannot be relegated to some poor slob who got stuck leading the whole mess.<BR/><BR/>Sorry for the rant. And no doubt induce the crumbling of many small groups.
